Azuza Street Revival of 1906 is one of the mighty revivals in the history of Christendom which shook Nations with the Power of the Holy Ghost.

emerged out of this Great Revival. COGIC was organized in 1907 by Bishop Charles Harrison Mason. COGIC celebrated its Centennial Celebraton in 2007.

in Christ is spread in 61 countries around the world and have more than 7 million members. This is a Pentecostal Holiness Chuch. Bishop Charles Edward Blake serves as the Presiding Bishop of this organization, Bishop Philip A. Brooks as the First Assistant Presiding Bishop and Bishop Jerry W. Macklin as the Second Assistant Presiding Bishop. Mother Willie Mae Rivers is the International Women Supervisor and Bishop Carlis L. Moody is the President of International Missions. Dr. Bevin G. Lawrence serves as the Overseer of the

India, the largest democracy in the world has many social evils like illiteracy, superstitious beliefs, caste barriers, ignorance, idolatry and poverty. The Christian population is less than 2.5 percent. COGIC has taken the challenge of presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ to this vast nation through various activities. The native missionaries and pastors pray and work hard to present the fragrance of the Gospel to the un reached areas of India. COGIC could establish 85 churches in South India and we hope and pray with your prayers and support we can do much to these perishing souls.
